The owner prohibited the publication of any data, including the logo and information about the café.
In designing the new website for this coffee bar, I embarked on a journey to understand the needs and preferences of its potential customers. Through research, persona development, and prototyping, I aimed to create a user-centric experience that prioritized to their needs efficiently.
Research phase
To begin, I conducted market research by analyzing various coffee bars in Brno, Prague, and similar locations. I identified areas for improvement in their websites' usability and functionality. However, I prioritized focusing on our café's needs and requirements.

Persona development
I created initial personas to represent the target audience. These personas helped me understand the customers' preferences and behavior patterns. As I gathered more information during interviews, I developed these initial personas into detailed representations of our audience. This process guided further research and design decisions, ensuring that website meets the needs of users.

Interviews
Through interviews and observations in Brno, I discovered that mothers with strollers were among the most frequent visitors to this specific coffee bar. This insight influenced my decision to prioritize mobile usability in our website design. Identifying three key informations such as
Address
Accessibility
Wi-Fi availability

Prototype & Moodboard
Utilizing mood boards and sketches, I brainstormed design concepts and explored layout options. My initial prototypes, created on paper and later refined using Figma, underwent multiple iterations to ensure simplicity and clarity in presenting the café's unique offerings.

Testing phase
During user testing, participants encountered difficulties in locating the main menu on the website. I promptly addressed this issue, implementing intuitive navigation enhancements. Positive feedback was received regarding the use of simple icons on the homepage, effectively communicating essential information at a glance.

Conclusion
Through a user-centered design approach, I successfully designed a website that meets the needs of target audience. By incorporating insights from research and user feedback, I optimized the user experience, making it seamless and enjoyable for visitors to explore Kavarna's offerings.
